Adjust Sliders

Your main objective on ToneADay will be to gauge the level of emotion present in snippets of text. Rate the level of emotion associated with the phrase or word based on how it makes you feel, and submit your rating.

*Keep in mind you should not be adjusting all 8 emotions, most phrases will only require that 1-3 slides be adjusted. Also, be mindful of where your rating falls on the slide. “9” or “10” ratings should only be used for extremely intense phrases.

Earn ToneADay Points

Users can gain or lose ToneADay points with each rating based on the quality of your ratings. Our system carefully monitors your ratings and compares them against others to ensure you have a strong understanding of the phrases being presented and that no spamming or rushing occurs. How well can you identify the emotional intensity of phrases in language?

Win Prizes

Each week there will be a prize draw where winners will be drawn from participating community members that week. The more ToneADay points you have for that week, the more ballots in the draw you will have.

Be Invited into Campaigns

In addition to weekly prize draws, top community members will be invited to join Campaigns and rate a group of words or phrases for a $0.02/word. Campaigns will happen on a regular basis, however they will be invitation only. Taking your time and providing sincere ratings will improve your chances of being invited into a paid campaign.
